Doug Stange is the Editor-­‐in-­‐Chief of many InterMedia Outdoors publications including In-­‐Fisherman and Walleye In-­‐Sider magazines; he also oversees the In-­‐ Fisherman series of annual guides; Walleye, Bass, Catfish, Ice Fishing, Pike-­‐Muskie, Panfish, and Gear Guides.

Doug has been contributor to the In-­‐Fisherman magazine since 1977, and a staff member since 1981. Doug is one of North America’s most accomplished multi-­‐ species anglers. In his tenure with In-­‐Fisherman has written about almost every aspect of freshwater fishing.

Doug is also the host of In-­‐Fisherman TV, one of the most watched programs in all outdoors for more than 30 years. The show format is a by-­‐product of the widely popular In-­‐Fisherman magazine, which focuses on the pursuit of everything that swims in freshwater and near-­‐shore coastal waters.

Along being a TV host and Editor-­‐in-­‐Chief, Doug has found time to author/co-­‐author numerous In-­‐Fisherman series of books, including: the Critical Concept 1 & 2 series and Ice Fishing Secrets.

With Doug’s years of dedication and commitment to the sport fishing industry, he has won many awards including; the “Conservation Achievement” citation from the American Fisheries Society, where he has been a member for more that 35 years.
And in 2008, he was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame as a “Legendary Communicator.”
