- Catch Story: I went to walt\'s garage to see his new duck boat while I was there we got talking about ice fishing and asked if he was going to go out. He said no because he did not have anyone to go with. I told him I would play hookie from the rest of the day of work and go with him. So in my dress clothes we went. There was quite a snow storm brewing and the schools were already starting to close for the next day because of the heavy forecasted winds. We got to the house and it started slow. We caught a few crappies in the 9 to 12 inch size and then bam I had a good strike with some uncustomary drag pull and low and behold through the hole came this 15 inch black cappie. It was a good day to play hookie....
