- Catch Story: During our annual spring trip to lake of the woods, we were forced to fish in four mile bay due to the ice sheet that remained on the main lake. Good thing, the bay was calm for the 3 days we fished but the moving current from the river stacked a bunch of nice walleyes in the bay. We caught and released many nice fish within the slot and some nice "keepers' this trip and this was the biggest one I caught.
