- Catch Story: My son and I were on our annual father son trip with my friend and his son. The big lake was a little rough so we fished the river. My son caught one that looked to weigh more than the one pictured, but we didn't measure or weigh it. At lunch I looked up the state record and realized how big the fish he caught was. After lunch he was fortunate enough to catch this one on a crankbait and we measured it before releasing it. Great day.
