- Catch Story: A calm morning, high in the mid 90's, perfect for this lake. Grandma's ready, Granddaughter's ready, and I'm ready too. My jig 1/8 oz. Fire fly and Berkley Gulp 1" fish fry, 4 lb. test line on the noodle stick. We're fishing in 6 feet of water on the edge of the hump. Fish on. A round and round we go. Will my line hold up? Yes it does. Granddaughter nets it, Grandma pictures it. Then back in the water for more fun. It's funny how this fish brings back childhood memories isn't it. Scotty
