- Catch Story: We were fishing on Lake Marion near a drop off as my son had a lindy rig on with a leech. He thought he was caught on a log at first, then after a few minutes of a good fight he pulls up this huge largemouth. As I get the net to scoop him up a northern came up and attacked the largemouth just under the gills. I tried to scoop them both in the net but the northern turned and took off. We harvested the largemouth and weighed it at 7 lbs 5 oz as we will be getting a perma-trophy as My son was so excited!
