- Catch Story: The fish ate a crankbait off the rocks in about 4ft-6ft of water. Bright sunny day and fishing fast in current. You never know what to expect when your out on the water. Always best to set out on the water with a positive mind set. I'm always expecting the unexpected. That was this fish on this day. She stayed heavy and down in the water, and got in the current a little to help her as well. Got her to the surface, after a few minutes, and solo netted this nice walleye. Got some measurements and photos and sent her on her way quick as it was hot outside held her in the water till she kicked off. Out there for someone else to enjoy and to continue to stem her genes into this healthy fishery.
