- Catch Story: while fishing for other species we were in the back corner of the pit where it was about 10 feet deep or so. We had known there were splake and lake trout in the pit but never could imagine we would catch one. She caught it, measured it and released it as fast as possible. I did not take a photo of the tape measure as I had no idea it could be counted as a master angler catch and we wanted to release it as quickly as possible without harming the fish.
