- Catch Story: It was a beautiful night out and I figured I'd take my boat down by the stream a few houses down, little did I know there was something... I was greeted by a man that worked at the local Ortonville bait shop! He told me his stories and his thoughts on how I was fishing at the moment. I reversed the boat because I was to close and carted my final few. The monster hit with full-fledge force and took me about 15 minutes to reel in on 8lb line. Now I didn't know that the beast was nearly 20, which doesn't add up. Since I didn't have a net on me I gripped the northern around the neck and flipped him in the boat.
