- Catch Story: Caught on a worm and hook below lock and dam 5 on Mississippi river. We thought it was another big redhorse until she surfaced. Unfortunately the hook was swallowed and thus had to harvest. 10.25 inch girth. We were able to release other big perch successfully but not this one. Weighed on certified scale at a supermarket in Brooklyn Park Minnesota.
