- Catch Story: This was Mikko's first trip to God's country. Of course his first walleye ever had to be the above fish!! It was our first evening of fishing with slip bobbers off a main lake point. Mikko tipped his hook with a scumbo leech and threw it overboard. It didn't take long and Mikko was ripping lips. The fish tore a few feet of line twice and succumbed to a nice net job by his guide Jon. After a quick CPR (Catch-Photo-Release) Mike lowered the specimen back into the depths of Lake Vermilion thus "hooking" him for life on this great body of water.
