- Catch Story: I was fishing a new lake with my best friend Steve because we heard that it hold's decent Crappie and that is out favorite fish to catch. Spent the evening out there catching a few here and there jigging with a floo floo and crappie minnow until about 9:00pm when all... BAM my ultra light pole nearly bent in half. Steve had just caught a small dog fish so we were assuming that this was another one. Took my time enjoying the fight in the low light but then I saw the flash of silver and realized it was a MONSTER crappie. I yelled to Steve to get the net as I knew this would be my PB. Steve netted it like the pro that he is and we booth hooped and hollered because this was one of the biggest crappies either of us had seen and by far my PB! Great times with a great friend!
