- Catch Story: Nice family trip with my out of state parents to White Iron Beach Resort. We were on the hunt for walleye and smallmouth, and this rock bass was a total surprise catch. I measured it and tossed it back without much thought, until realizing later that it was quite large for a rock bass. He put up a good fight by wedging into the bottom boulders. After trying to "free my snag", I realized there was a fish on!
