- Catch Story: One of many evenings on the small city lake by our neighborhood. We've caught medium sized bass for years but never found a monster. Finally, a beautiful and powerful 21" largemouth took my whopper plopper with a splash. Better yet, my 6 year old daughter was along to see the beast. She asked "where is he?" when he came up in a gigantic pile of seaweed after diving deep. Interestingly, the tail of a pretty sizable fish was visible deep in the largemouth's throat. I guess he was still hungry!
