- Catch Story: On Monday, May 29th, 2023 (Memorial Day), young Marty Langemo was fishing near a sandbar on Crystal Lake in Otter Tail county. He was using a plastic swimbait with a jighead. He casted into about 6 feet of water where the wind had been piling up baitfish for the previous two days. He felt a bite, set the hook, and reeled in a great largemouth. Dad helped land the fish in the net.
