- Catch Story: We were trolling for walleye with an 8# test line and a Rapala X-rap, when the muskie joined the fun. After getting it to the side of the boat, we realized we would not be able to get it in the boat because we had no net. We decided to drive the boat to the shore. While I finished the fight, Heidi got the camera and tape measure ready. We couldn't weigh it, but it was 53" long with a 20" girth. Fish was released -- it was almost as much fun to watch it swim away.
