- Catch Story: Southwest wind blowing at 40 into the dock all day. Only 4 feet of water. We caught a total of 40 fish, 4 keeper walleye (between 14 and 18 slot) numerous small northerns and 5 Rock Bass all around 11 inches. Wind swept shorelines is a great tactic. I fish Vermilion all of July. Maybe you\\\'ll be hearing from me then!!
