- Catch Story: My son Eric and I were fishing with Tony Roach from Roach's Guide Service out of Hunters Point Resort. We were catching a lot of walleyes in the 22 to 26 inch range on crawlers when Tony said we should try trolling with some crank baits. It wasn't a half hour of trolling when I hooked up with this beauty of a walleye 29.250 inches long, my biggest walleye ever. Tony asked if it was going on the wall because it is a real trophy. I said no maybe someone else could catch her again someday and give them as much pleasure as I had. Tony said are you sure and I said yes, a few quick pictures later and she was swimming a way. The midday was very warm and the lake was perfectly calm, sunny. Thanks Tony for a wounderful trip that my son and I will never forget.
