- Catch Story: During our annual spring trip, We were forced to fish in four mile bay because the main lake was still capped with ice. Good thing, we had calm conditions for the 3 days we fished, but the active current from the river stacked a bunch of nice walleyes in the bay. We caught and released many walleyes within the 19.5" -28" slot and also caught some nice "keepers" to go home with. This was the biggest fish of the trip. It was also the 3rd. walleye over 10 lbs. I've caught there (on the same jig). Fun trip!!
