- Catch Story: Jayden and I were fishing walleye and crappie along a drop in 13 feet of water. He had been pulling up little perch most of the day, but this time when he started reeling it up, the fish pulled back. He struggled to maintain control of his pole, but just kept on cranking away at the handle. He was so excited when the fish out of the hole, he dropped his pole, and the fish and pole BOTH almost went back down. We quickly measured it's length, and snapped a photo, and sent it back in to the lake.
