- Catch Story: I was out on Leech Lake for the first time of the season. I caught a 19.5" walleye at the first spot I 11' of water. I decided to move to a deep water hump and try for eelpout. I set up in 41' of water and got a bite instantly. I thought I had a big eelpout on but when the head came up the hole, I was pleasantly surprised that it was a big walleye.
