- Catch Story: the fish was caught on a Zara Spook top-water bait dropped off the grass on the bank and smashed on the first twitch. The fish was released after being measured at 22 inches without pinching the tail. the catch was witnessed by my friend Travis Koenen who was in the canoe with me. As we forgot the scale in the car I was unable to weigh it. It swam off in good health after release.
