- Catch Story: It's the final day of my 4 day sturgeon adventure on the rainy river, and we have boated many monsters, including a 59.5" in my kayak. BUT Just because I'm up here chasing giants. Doesn't mean I can resist a quality sicker bite, in one of the most beautiful places I've had the pleasure to fish, the mouth of the rapid river. Amongst the rocks and rapids, I found a calm pool overflowing with beautiful white suckers, constantly surfacing, taunting me, wanting to be caught. And I was glad to oblige. And I was rewarded with this master class quality white sucker!
