- Catch Story: I thought I had a tree branch as I pulled hard and it wasn't fighting. As I got it reeled up it did start to fight and tugging and when I saw it closer to the surface my husband said "You have a great fish". We netted it. We took pictures and put it in a cooler. We thought it looked different than a walleye and looked at the fish pictures and found it to be a sauger. We were trolling and I was fishing with a Rapala blue lure. Wow, what a catch!!!
