- Catch Story: Eli caught the fish trolling for pike and walleye in Kitchi Lake around 10:00 am. We were trolling a shore line that had a steep drop off. When Eli hooked the fish we initially thought it had caught on a downed tree branch as there were branches along multiple the bank. We turned around to retrieve what we thought was the snag and then it took drag so began the 10 minute battle to try and land the beautiful muskie. Eli fought hard and was able to get the muskie up close to the boat and then his uncle, Nick, and I were able to get the fish into the boat. He was extremely excited.
