- Catch Story: We were fishing early morning and my witness was busy catching sheepshead all day. I was on the verge of getting skunked when my line gave me a firm tug like a log snag. After fighting for a while I assumed it was a big sheephead catching the current until we finally saw a flash and knew it was a walleye. We landed the fish to find that it had so aggressively struck my lure that it broke hooks. It took a while to get the barbs out, measured it up and we snapped a quick pick (awkwardly) and sent the fish on her way.
