- Catch Story: Another generation of Constantine's catching very respectful Walleye's on Lake Vermilion. Colie has been fishing the Cook end of Vermilion since she was 3. Her Great Grandpa used to entertain Hubert Humphrey at Fraser Bay Resort back in the 40's. Little did he know a great grandchild would follow and catch fish they only dreamed off back in the day. Colie caught her fish on a slip bobber on a main lake point at 6:00 pm using a scumbo leech. After 3 dives the fish was given CPR (catch-photo-release) and let go. Her Grandma and Grandpa are proud. They watched from heaven cheering the whole way. Nice fish Pye! Thank God Dad was there to net the fish! Also thanks to the DNR for the slot. Might hurt eater fish but the scows are popping.
