- Catch Story: Now I know its almost unheard of to catch a fish at night on Lake of the Woods but this is true. We were fishing after dark in our Dream Shack and our Humminbird flashers and my dad just went outsidewhen I got a bite on a jigging spoon and I reeled up the thing I thought was a walleye, but it was its cousin the yellow perch. This was my personal best perch.
