- Catch Story: We were in our Dream shack on Lake of the Woods in 31 feet of water when on the humminbird flasher we saw 2 big red lines (on the flasher it shows the body and tail of eelpout) when it hit and dissapeared. One of our rattle reels went zooming down and we knew it was the big eelpout. After we were certain it was on I set the hook and pulled it in. It was my first eelpout which I have been trying to catch for awhile now so I was very exited.
