- Catch Story: It was extremly windy on Leech and we were in the dreamshack jigging up perch when a little pike came in and hit so i reeled it up and let it go. I was going out to check tip ups often in the 40 mph wind in hope to catch my first eelpout, I enjoy catching those kinds of fish like bullheads and catfish in the summer often to occupy my days. I have caught a "master angler" yellow bullhead last summer but didnt get a picture. But back to the story, i went out and saw a flag was up, I though it may have been the bait because we had a big chub on but i felt dead weight at the end. When I finished fighting I was suprised and happy to find I had a 12 pound pike and it was swallowing an eelpout. We took some plyers and got the eelpout out but i was dead already.
