- Catch Story: We were asleep in our dreamshack on Leech Lake with some rattle reels down with minnows on them. at about 3:00 AM I heard some rattling on the reels so I woke up with me dad, Scott Steil pro walleye fisherman in the FLW, and started reeling up the line expecting a walleye or maybe eelpout. About half way up I felt nothing on the line and got dissapointed and pulled the rest of the line up when I saw a giant crappie on. Joking around with my dad I said \\\\\\\"state record!\\\\\\\" and we both laughed.
