- Catch Story: I had our kids out fishing after a storm blew thru. The winds chased us from usual bobber fishing locations, so I decided the wind was favorable on a shoreline where I had some waypoints where I had hooked into walleye while trolling on previous outings. We were fishing with leeches under slip bobbers with little success. I was considering moving because we weren't catching walleyes, just small bass. Next thing I know, Cassie tells me she has a fish, and I saw her pole was bent way over. She did a good job keeping the fish on her side of the boat. We eventually got it netted, grabbed a photograph and quick measurement before releasing it.
