  • Catch Story: This fish was caught by Carson Blake, age 9, from the front of our canoe in the Boundary Waters (BWCA) in Horse Lake on a leech and slip bobber. Not the fish we expected as he reeled in as all the other fish were walleye, pike, or small mouth. This was the only bluegill we caught in five days. We did our best taking the photo of his fish while while in the canoe. It was 10 inches on the dot. This catch was extra special as this particular morning he chose our location in the lake his own tackle and bait and predicted we would catch a memorable fish.
