- Catch Story: I went fishing at my favorite spot on Minnesota River. Between 10:45 am and noon I caught and released 5 Northern Pikes 4-7 lb. The last catch for that day was Walleye that broke my rod after a pretty long fight. All six were caught on Blue Fox Vibrax Spinner #3. When I tried to release the Walleye, it showed no signs of life, so I was forced to harvest it. I brought it home, weighted and measured. It was 7.12 lb (7 lb 2 oz) and 27 ‘’.
