- Catch Story: It was a slow and bitterly cold opener. Decided to anchor up shallow on the wind blown shore line tossed a slip bobber out with a lively fathead and let the wind take it. Turned around to look at the water temp on my locator and when I turned back I couldn't tell if my bobber was gone due to a fish or the waves were drowning it, so I reeled up until I felt some resistance and then set the hook to this beautiful fish. Glad to send her back swimming safely.
