  • Catch Story: It was a beautiful, yet windy evening on Bay Lake at last light. We were trolling slowly in 4 to 8 feet with black and gold scatter raps. Just as we were about to quit, I felt an aggressive tug but no head shake. I knew it wasn't a northern pike, but a walleye. "Get the net!" I yelled, "This is a REAL fish!" The fight was incredible. I pulled her up and instantly knew it was the biggest walleye I'd ever caught, measuring in at 28.5". I was so grateful to share the experience with my boyfriend Matt and my best friend Kenzie Kroll. We threw her back and all began cheering, high fiving and hugging. It will be a night I will always remember.
