- Catch Story: We were drift fishing in six feet of water using a quarter ounce split shot eighteen inches up from a red hook and leech. The fish bit,I set the hook and started to reel in. It took off towards the bottom four times before we got it netted. The battle with this fish burnt out the gears in my pole.
