- Catch Story: Aidan was fishing for bullheads off the dock at night when he heard a splash about 5 yards away, he shined his flashlight in the direction of the disruption and he was surprised to see a large bowfin sitting there. He dropped his bacon and weight right off the side if the dock and splashed it around, the fish immediately swam over to check it out and the stare down began, after a minute he called his dad on his ohone and told him to bring the net. His Dad arrived net in hand and Aidan explained the situation. After what felt like an eternity but was more like 2 minutes Aidan's dad left the net and was just walking off the dock when the bowfin inhaled the bacon and Aidan shouted to his dad "he ate it! he ate! fish on!" his dad turned around and picked up the net and with little time to fully realize what was happening the bowfin glided right into the net. He was so stoked he had just caught his first bowfin and even more ecstatic when he realized it met the requirements for a Master Angler Award!
