- Catch Story: We catch 1-2lb bass all the time at the clayhole, and under the bridge/dock I saw 2 giant shadows by a school of bluegill. In my excitement, I got closer, and flipped a chatter/keitech combo behind them, and let it swim past with the momentum. Next thing I know, the bluegill boiled the surface running for their life, and my rod was bent over hard. My net was sitting on the other side of the bridge entrance, and a kid who was there and another man brought the net over, and I landed that sucker. Wow was it heavy! I measured and weighed it at 22", but the fatso was 6lb 6oz!
