- Catch Story: I was out fishing for Northern and Bass with a spinner bait. It was a slow day and I was talking to my brother, Corey, about going to the other side of the lake when my rod bent in half and something hit hard. He got the net and then as I slowly pulled the fish up from beneath the boat, he yelled out, "that's a walleye!" We successfully landed it on the first attempt and immediately celebrated with my kids...high fives for everyone.
