- Catch Story: This is a picture of a 27" walleye I caught and released on 1/2/11 at Lake of the Woods. Fish was caught on a Northland Buckshot Rattler. My dad and I were catching a lot of smaller fish and I decided to put on one of the biggest lures in my assortment with the biggest shiner in the bucket. I caught the 27 incher shortly after I wet the hook. I used the same lure the rest of the day trying to replicate the catch, but the rest of the fish caught were much smaller.
