- Catch Story: Muskie fishing Cross lake from shore, caught this big catfish on a mepps double 7 Colorado bucktail. Fish hit hard, thought it was a good smallmouth at first . Then it jumped and I thought it was a dark pike. I was shocked it was a large catfish and I had to measure it. Didn't weigh and got fish back very quickly.
