- Catch Story: Our annual family trip to lake of the wood produced personal best 29" Walleye this year. very little fight until it reached the bottom of the ice and decided to go belly up and brace it's self parallel to the ice spanning across 2 holes. with the assistance of my future brother in law we were finally able to get the fish tipped in the right direction and put this big boy top side.
