- Catch Story: Even though only 8 years old, Jack is an avid fisherman for life. He was with his Mom (and cousin, Maddie) in Grandpa Fude's boat (on a few day's vacation before school begins) and had already been talking (for days) about wanting to catch a big largemouth bass. We had been catching some real nice sunfish on a slip bobber & yellow jig combo, with a chunk of a leech as a bait, when his bobber went under the boat and the reel started singing. Jack played it well (with some quick instructions from "Papa" on how to keep the rod away from the gunnel) and he landed it, took a quick picture and released it.
